How does sports massage therapy and osteopathy complement each other in Bristol?

At my Henleaze Osteopathic clinic, we provide both sports massage therapy and osteopathy in Bristol, but how do they complement each other?

I'm really pleased to be able to offer sports massage therapy alongside my Osteopathy at my Bristol clinic as there is great synergy between the two services.

Many of my patients have utilized the benefits of being treated by myself as a leading provider of osteopathy in Bristol with in-house sports massage therapy from Flo Dannah.

The combination of sports massage therapy and osteopathy in Bristol works really well together.

Flo qualified as a sports massage therapist in 2012, having previously acquired a BSc (Hon) in Applied consumer sciences which incorporated food science and nutrition.

In addition, she is a fully qualified sports nutritionist having studied with the International Olympic Committee to attain her qualification.

As a sports massage therapy professional in Bristol, Flo treats an array of different types of clients, helping them through effective treatments to work towards reaching their optimum physical health, and living a stronger, happier, more balanced and pain-free life.

Flo believes that maintaining the correct alignment of the body through sports massage, advisory exercises/training, and the right nutrition enables patients to do all the activities they enjoy the most.

Flo works closely with me where the Osteopathic approach in synergy with sports massage can help resolve patients’ injuries, prevent future injuries and find optimal performance.

I interviewed Flo last year for the Healthy News section - find out more about her and her sports massage therapy work in Bristol here.

I also recommend reading my top tips here on how to avoid injuries this season.
Good body health can be sustained with a Maintenance Osteopathic Treatment (MOT) as one of my most popular osteopathy services in Bristol.
